The Medela Pump in Style Traveler Double Electric Breast Pump features a European designed backpack for hands-free portability. The backpack has roomy compartments providing space for all your pumping and personal needs. The hands-free design allows you to have both hands for baby, shopping, commuting and more. Power SourcesYour Medela Pump In Style™ is powered with an AC adapter or with the Medela Pump In Style™'s New Battery Pack, which uses 8 AA alkaline or rechargeable batteries (batteries not included). The Battery Pack attaches easily to the Medela Pump In Style™ strap for added convenience. The batteries should last an estimated 7 to 10 pumping sessions (average pumping sessions are 20 minutes in length). The AC adapter or the Battery Pack plugs into the power plug opening on the face of the Pump In Style™ breastpump. Optional power sources you can order for your breast pump includes Medela's vehicle lighter adapter for use in a motor vehicle. Also available by special order is Medela's PowerPakTM which powers the pump with a large rechargeable battery when electricity is not available.

When should I order my breast pump? It really is a good idea to order your breast pump several weeks before your due date instead of a week before you go back to work or school. Believe me, this happens a lot!! If you are needing your breast pump delivered within less than two weeks, you need to make other arrangements besides ordering your breast pump online and having it shipped across the country through the mail.
